Messenger is the mothership of all coffee shops in KC! 3 storied- coffee shop & bakery with a rooftop downtown view!
Originally out of Texas! They have a special creamer called "Moon Milk" that gives this coffee shop it's own unique flavor for lattes! A top fave for sure!
The CUTEST coffee shop there ever was, and right in De Soto, KS where Cassie grew up and went to MS & HS! And not too far from the venue... But they have specific days & hours they are open. Tues-Fri 7am-2pm. Saturday 8am-2pm. Closed Sun-Mon.
(The Zoller family knows the owners, they're the kindest people!)
Sister of Messenger, just smaller, one story. Super cute!
Alex & Cassie's favorite restaurant! We go here quite often. Affordable and AMAZING food. Can not go wrong here. *but make sure you order the pretzel bites, thank us later*
A popular apps & drinks spot that Alex & Cassie frequent! Right in the heart of Lenexa! If the weather is nice, outdoor seating is the way to go.
Our face spot in Overland Park, KS off Antioch street!
BTW, all BBQ spots are Ted Lasso approved as well.
(The other location is smaller.)
You KNOW we're gonna recommend all our fave BBQ sopts, but you can't go wrong with any of them! The OG Joe's KC started out of a gas station...and yes, it's still there! Not a lot of seating at this location, but the Olathe location is a bit bigger.
Another BBQ! There are several locations...Lenexa (newest), Overland Park, Plaza, Downtown!
Yes, it's that BIG building in the middle. It's free to walk around inside! The fountains in front are pretty, hopefully they're on come end of April! It's paid parking, but you can use a lot of street parking surrounding it for free... then you can venture over to Crown Center through the skywalk or take a ride on the free KC Streetcar!
Across from Union Station... Liberty Memorial gives you the ULTIMATE & STUNNING view of all of downtown Kansas City! The hottest spot for engagements, photoshoots, etc. Trust us, you will want to get a photo here before you leave town! There's an elevator that takes you all the way to the top to see an even better view, but sadly it's shut down until June for cleaning/maintenance. :( On a clear day, you can see Arrowhead Stadium in the distance (GO CHIEFS)! ;)
*NOTE: if you'd like to tour inside the WWI museum, it's $19.50 per adult.
Only the prettiest, most dreamiest park ever! Why not visit the park where Alex & Cassie got engaged?! :D Plenty to do... play on the playground, go for a stroll around all 3 mini lakes, get a photo in front of the big yellow sunflower (like in our engagement photo!...it is, after all, the Kansas state flower!), and then step inside The Market to get a pastry or coffee and check out The Inn lobby!
Bring a pickelball paddle & ball if you want to play pickle ball on the outside courts!
