There are two international airports which can be used to travel to Puerto Rico. Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) - San Juan - This airport is the largest and located in the Capital of Puerto Rico, and is 2.5 hours (93 Miles) away from the wedding location and will have plenty of resources including 23 mayor airlines and car rental companies.
Aeropuerto Internacional Rafael Hernández (BQN) - Aguadilla
- A local, smaller airport located 30 minutes away from the wedding location. It serves JetBlue, Frontier and United Airlines.
How do I get around Puerto Rico?
We highly recommend reserving a car rental in advance and communicating with others to carpool. All US car rental companies (i.e. Budget, Alamo, National, Avis, Hertz, etc.) provide service in Puerto Rico.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Formal attire: Gentleman can wear a tuxedo or a dark suit. Ladies, we invite you to wear an elegant floor-length dress. We want you to feel as beautiful as we do. This is your chance to go all out and dress up for the occasion.
We kindly request that no one wear White!
What time do I arrive for the wedding?
We suggest arriving 30 minutes before start time to allow time for seating and to ensure you don't miss any of the celebration.
What is the weather like?
It is tropical warm weather with an average 87° in Puerto Rico. We strongly suggest wearing clothes that are light and loose.
The ceremony and the reception are indoors with air conditioning, while the Beach-side Cookout will be outdoors.
What Do I Wear to The Beachside Cookout
Coastal Chic: For a more relaxed vibe, casual attire is welcome. We suggest avoiding overly casual items like jeans, t-shirts or sports attire. A nice pair of breathable pants or a stylish dress is perfect!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes. However, carpool is encouraged. As always parking is limited at all venues and traffic often changes unexpectedly. There is Uber on the island, but we advise against it. We recommend Car Rental Services (all at SJU and BQN airports).
What about if I stay extra days in San Juan?
San Juan is the capital of Puerto Rico bundled with tons of activities. We recommend visiting places like Old San Juan, Plaza Las Americas, or the Bacardi distillery. A wonderful website for ideas is: https://www.discoverpuertorico.com/
