Alex and Cass met in college at Stockton University in the Fall of 2019 through a shared love of the outdoors.

Through long nights of NCIS watching, Cass's RA shifts, early mornings classes and Alex's early shipment shifts at Old Navy, Alex and Cass fostered a relationship largely nurtured by TGI Friday appetizers and a shared love of board games (kidding).

Cass often recalls times spent doing crosswords on the Atlantic City shores as the first instances that love began to blossom. Still, Alex seems to focus on their first big commitment: purchasing dozens of minnows at the local Petsmart. Whichever one you choose to believe, Cass expressed her love on October 19, 2019 (sound familiar?)

In December of 2019, Alex moved back home to Illinois (a stint that would last nearly a year and a half). However, absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder and after nightly face-time calls and Animal Crossing sessions, Alex was able to come home to New Jersey, bringing with him their newly acquired furry feline - Poppy.

Since Alex's return, Alex and Cass have spread the fun of vacations and date nights over three homes, two degrees, and one engagement (wow!)
