GPS, Google Maps or other similar apps do not yet provide a reliable route to the property-- they will take you down private farm roads, specifically Plain Dealing Farm. In an effort to be respectful of our neighbors, we ask that you follow the directions given and please do not turn onto Plain Dealing Farm as this is private property. Directions from Route 64 • Take exit 121 Scottsville/Charlottesville • Head toward Scottsville (left off exit) onto Route 20 South (travel approx. 6-7 miles) • Turn left onto Carter Mountain Road • Take an immediate right onto Secretarys Road (travel approx. 3 miles until you reach a 4-way stop • At 4-way stop turn right onto Blenheim Road (travel approx. 2.5-3 miles). • When you arrive to the black and gold “The Lodge” sign on the left, turn left onto Moonlight Drive through the open iron gates. • Follow Moonlight Drive until you reach the Lodge. If you plan to take the shuttle from your stay at the Residence Inn, follow these instructions: The bus shuttle for Mount Ida will pick up guests at 4th Street behind the Tavern Grocery, adjacent to the hotel, Residence Inn Downtown. This shuttle will LEAVE PROMPTLY at 2PM. Please board the bus no later than 1:50PM. The shuttle will drop off guests at the Ceremony site. Bus Shuttle Return: There are two returning shuttles. An early shuttle will leave around 7PM just after dessert is served for any that are unable to stay until the Send Off. The last shuttle will leave after Send Off, just after 9PM.
