Alex and Sarah met at a baseball game in 2019, introduced by their mutual friend Emily. They finally went on their first date near Sarah's hometown in January of 2020 shortly after they first met. There was a strong connection from the start - but with the pandemic, living long distance from one another, and Sarah in the midst of a gruesome PA school schedule - their relationship was quickly met with challenges.

Sarah told Alex to be patient - and Alex quickly met that request with not only patience, but fierce loyalty, partnership, and love in all forms. They went on many excursions in Boston- exploring and strengthening their relationship. Alex devoted many weekends driving to Sarah in Boston so she could focus on her studies- a testament that showed Sarah his true colors. They even spent a month living together in Florida during one of Sarah’s clinical rotations-giving them both a sweet taste of what the future could be.

Fast forward nearly 4 years to the date from the first time they met - Alex surprised Sarah at her favorite beach on Cape Cod, surrounded by her family, and asked the big question. It was clear Alex and Sarah were a match written in the stars, and they have spent each day so grateful their paths crossed, and the stars aligned. And now, it is truly only the beginning.
