The Alamo

The Alamo, originally the Spanish mission&nbsp;Mission San Antonio de Valero, is&nbsp;a historic site and museum in downtown San Antonio, Texas, famous for the 1836&nbsp;Battle of the Alamo&nbsp;during the Texas Revolution. Visitors can explore the complex, including the historic Church and Long Barrack, learn about its 300-year history from mission to military garrison, and see artifacts and living history demonstrations

Tower of the Americas

The Tower of the Americas is&nbsp;a 750-foot observation tower in downtown San Antonio, built for the 1968&nbsp;HemisFair. It features an observation deck offering panoramic views, the revolving Chart House restaurant, and a 4D Theater Ride simulating the "Skies Over Texas" experience. The tower's top house, including the restaurant and observation areas, was built at ground level and hoisted to the top of its concrete shaft using steel lifting rods.&nbsp;
