One weekend, Alex planned a surprise trip to a surprise destination in Canada for him and Alyssa. Alyssa didn't know where she was going when she got on a flight that Alex had arranged for her. They were traveling separately since at the time they were in a long distance relationship. When the plane arrived in Toronto, Alex's friend met her there and drove her 3 hours away, all the time concealing any information of her destination. After the car drive, she was to get on a boat to cross a large body of water. After the boat ride she was taken up a long path in a golf cart up a large hill. Finally after arriving, she was taken to a boat house. At the roof of the boat house Alex's friends closed the door behind her where there was a path of tealights to the end of the roof which overlooked the lake. There Alex was. He popped the question, as his friends, who were hiding underneath the boathouse popped some champagne and shot off fireworks up over them. Shortly after, one of Alyssa's best friends and one of Alex's best friends surprised them BOTH by being there too! The rest of the weekend was spent celebrating with great friends in an unforgettable weekend.
