“How We Met”
Where do we start? To think that our paths could have crossed so much sooner as we had many friends in common, but instead our friendship began on social media! Eventually, we became Fitbit Friends, or should we say competitors, going on crazy walk challenges to see who would win. We quickly realized that we competed in many different things from fitness, to which team was better Lakers (Joann) vs Knicks (Alex) our competitiveness went on for months.  

Finally, on June 24, 2018 we met each other for the first time at a birthday party. Neither one of us knew what to do, we both acted shy as if we hadn’t competed for months and talked daily.

 “Favorite Memories”
Disney was our first vacation together, We quickly learned we had so much in common including our interests in Disney. Joann is a huge fan of Disney princesses and Alex is a huge fan of Marvel

The Proposal
Alex tried to surprise Joann with the best 30th birthday and took her to Disney resort, Aulani in Hawaii. This was exactly where he knew Joann wanted to spend her birthday. Now If we all know Joann is extremely hard to surprise so what better way of adding to her big surprise 30th birthday and proposing to her at Disney resort Aulani in hawaii.

It was only fitting that on April 6, 2024 we say I do at the most magical place on earth. We hope you’ll join us at Disney, as we make all of our dreams come true!
