"Alexxxxxx” ... not just the way Becca nags him now, but also the start of their first conversation. Online apps are the perfect marriage (excuse the pun) of technology & romance and they certainly love their phones (& each other)! After a few short days, but extensive conversations later, Alex & Becca met at City Bistro in Hoboken, NJ- where Becca lived at the time. The first date was a huge success, with the conversations & drinks flowing (thank you Wine Wednesdays) and Alex proved to be the perfect gentlemen he is!

Fast forward some time to the proposal...
The plan, according to Becca, was to attend a friend of a friend’s birthday party in Hoboken with Alex’s best friends after having a dinner date night. But Alex had another plan in mind. They went back to where it all began, City Bistro where they shared a delicious dinner with entirely too much food. Becca wanted to bring her leftovers (typical) but Alex, knowing the events to come, worked hard to convince her otherwise. From there, they were going to “walk to their friends apartment” which turned out to be a lovely stroll on the Hudson River waterfront with a spectacular view of New York City. That is where Alex got down on one knee, confessed his love and took Becca’s (right) hand- oops, nerves! After regaining composure, they hopped in an Uber and took a ride to Finnegans, where 40 of their closest friends and family were there waiting to celebrate the newly engaged couple!

The happy couple is getting married at Temple Emanuel in Closter, NJ on October, 26, 2019 and can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
