Alex and Erika first met at one of their doctor training corporate events. They remember thinking how attractive and interesting each other were on that day, but it wasn't until about 6-7 months later that they actually talked. On a Tuesday morning during zoom doctor training, Erika texted her friend Jordan and jokingly said "I'm going to marry Dr. Alex." Dr. Jordan then gave Alex Erika's phone number and for two months they spent so much time just texting and laughing at each other's jokes. They eventually transitioned to hour long phone calls and Facetimes. A few months in they finally made their travel plans a reality and met in person to make sure their chemistry was real. They were both nervous but quickly realized that everything they felt was just amplified in person.

From that point on they knew they would be planning a whole life together. Big decisions would lie ahead but they planned to tackle them head on with full confidence and love.
