Our Story

Picture of Our Story

“For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. '”

Jeremiah 29:11

Alex worked at Beachcities for seven years, and despite various attempts to find a job in the commercial side of the audio industry, God kept him where he was. Six years into his time at Beachcities, Hannah joined the staff after she felt God called her away from her role at Turning Point USA. Alex and Hannah attempted to make previous relationships, jobs, and life circumstances work for them, but it became evidently clear that their own plans and intentions were no match for what God had in store.

One month into working at Beachcities, Alex asked Hannah out to dinner, and at the risk of sounding cliché, the rest is history.

Alex and Hannah quickly recognized the importance of having a partner with similar values socially, politically, and most of all, religiously. In the early season of dating the two discovered the parallels between their lives and how the circumstances, which seemed grim at the time, were actually being used to prepare them for their relationship with one another.

Ten months into dating, Alex proposed. The couple since has begun wedding planning, started new jobs, and even bought their first home together which Hannah is having a blast decorating before Alex moves in.

The couple was able to work together for a year at Beachcities before God opened a door for them both to work at Influence Church. Alex serves as the Tech Director for the church while Hannah is the Communications Director for their news outlet, American Faith.

Compassion, humor, kindness, and patience are all attributes that Hannah and Alex love about each other, but most importantly, they cherish that they each love God the most. They are grateful to share their love of Christ above all else and look forward to building a life with Christ at the center.
