Jamie Bitting-Kohut - Matron of Honor
Jamie and I met at a college party when we were juniors—because nothing says “lifelong friendship” like bonding over questionable dance moves and late-night snacks. Not long after, she moved to Atlanta to chase that Georgia Tech degree, and somehow, despite the miles and busy lives, we stayed as close as ever. Over 15 years later, she’s still one of my favorite people to laugh with, cry with, and occasionally blame for my bad decisions. I’m so lucky to have her standing by my side on this big day!
Haley Machisko - Bridesmaid
Haley and I met through a mutual friend shortly after I moved to Atlanta—two respiratory therapists who instantly clicked (and not just because of our love for clean lungs!). Since then, we’ve racked up some serious air miles together, jet-setting to Cuba, Australia, New Zealand, and who knows where next? When she’s not busy being my travel buddy, she’s belting out Taylor Swift songs like a pro, cheering on UGA football with full passion, and putting her family above all else. I'm so lucky to have her standing by my side on this big day!
Melissa Copeland - Bridesmaid
From precepting her to becoming coworkers, Melissa and I quickly bonded over our shared love for EDM—and maybe a little bit of friendly sass. She’s the sweetest Southern belle you’ll ever meet, with a smile that lights up the room, just enough sass to keep things interesting, and a cheetah-print obsession that’s as fierce as her personality. Whether she’s sharing witty remarks or simply bringing her best energy, Melissa always knows how to brighten the day. I’m so lucky to have her standing by my side on this special day.
Sabine Butts - Bridesmaid
Sabine is the vibrant spirit of Cameroon in our family—a devoted wife, the best mama to my sweet niece Hope and nephews Prince and Erza, a loving daughter, and the kind of friend who always shows up for you (usually looking effortlessly fabulous while doing it). She somehow manages to put everyone else first without ever missing a beat—seriously, it’s like her superpower. With her strength, grace, big heart, and seriously amazing sense of style, Sabine brings love, culture, and beauty into every space she walks into. I’m so lucky to have her standing by my side on this special day—and even luckier to call her family.
Heather West-McWhorter - Bridesmaid
Heather is my wonderful sister-in-law—and a saint for putting up with my brother (we all know it’s true). She’s the proud mama of my sweet niece Sophia, a dedicated teacher shaping the minds of tomorrow, and a true Midwesterner with a love for books, DIY everything, and secretly…a culinary degree. Basically, she's Pinterest come to life. I’m so happy to have her standing by my side—and even happier she’s stuck with us forever
Raul Paz - Best Man
This is my older brother—my lifelong partner in crime and the guy who’s been there through every adventure (and misadventure). He’s got the stubbornness of a mule, a heart of pure gold, and a love for family that never quits—especially when it comes to me. Having him by my side today isn’t just tradition; it’s a reminder that no matter what, I’ve always got someone who’s got my back. Couldn’t ask for a better wingman or brother.
Anthony Paz - Groomsmen / Son
This is Anthony—my son, my best friend, and someone who’s been my partner through all the ups and downs of life. We grew up side by side, navigating every challenge together (and sometimes driving each other a little crazy). But through it all, he’s become a bright, stand-up young man with a heart full of kindness. A great brother, a devoted son, and always ready to lend a hand, Anthony’s charisma and drive never cease to impress me. I’m proud to have him standing with me on this special day—and lucky to call him family.
Alfred Thurlow - Groomsmen
Al is one of my best friends—a brother I found all the way in Okinawa. We survived the ups and downs of the COVID-19 pandemic together, and if anything, it only made our bond stronger. He’s the kind of guy who’s never afraid to speak his mind, which I always appreciate (even when it’s brutally honest). Family means everything to him, and he’d move mountains for the people he loves. I’m lucky to have him standing by my side—and even luckier to call him family.
Christopher Stafford - Groomsmen
Chris is definitely the “problem child” of the group—mostly because he’s the one who keeps us on our toes (and occasionally shaking our heads). But honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. I met Chris in Okinawa, and between him and Al, we’ve racked up enough stories that probably shouldn’t be repeated in polite company. When he’s not busy being the “fun troublemaker,” he’s a devoted family man and an amazing dad—seriously, he can switch from party mode to superhero dad in seconds. If he’s not cracking jokes, you’ll probably find him nose-deep in a book or making sure everyone’s having a good time. Chris adds that perfect mix of chaos and heart to our crew, and I’m lucky to have him standing with me today.
Michael Autry - Groomsmen
Mike is officially the life of the party—and the unofficial “pretty boy” of the group (don’t let it go to his head). He’s always down for a good time and the first guy you want in your corner when things get real. We met in Okinawa, and between him, Chris, and Al, we’ve made enough wild memories to last a lifetime (some of which we still can’t quite explain). But beyond all the fun, Mike is a sharp thinker and a family guy through and through. Can’t wait to have this guy standing by my side!
