Ryan and Alex's love story began on X (formerly known as Twitter). Ryan noticed Alex's teacher profile and sent her a direct message. Ryan claimed he had met Alex before at a Special Education or coaches meeting. They soon exchanged numbers and had their first date at Rewind Bar in Knightdale, NC.

In their free time, Alex and Ryan enjoy going on long walks and cuddling on the couch with their dog, Ace. They also enjoy eating tacos and queso and trying local breweries. Their favorite sweet to eat together is ice cream while making sure Ace can also get a pup-cup.
