We first met back in elementary school at ACCA. We used to carpool together, and though Jared never actually admitted it, he definitely had a big crush on Alex. She always remembered him as the kid who couldn’t stop talking about cars.

Fast forward to 2019, and we reconnected in college. We started hanging out more and more and quickly became best friends. Jared took Alex to a dock on the Chattahoochee River, where he asked her to be his girlfriend—and she said yes!

From there, we went on a ton of adventures. We took several beach trips, attended several concerts, and even went to Cancun with friends for a spontaneous getaway. We loved exploring new places, making memories, and just enjoying each other’s company.

A few years later, Alex was living in Florida for a nanny job. Her birthday was coming up, and she asked Jared to visit. He told her he was too busy with work but promised they’d hang out soon. What she didn’t know was that he had secretly been working with both their families to fly down and surprise her—for her birthday and to pop the big question!

Now, as we plan our wedding for April 5th, we’re excited for what’s ahead. We’re so grateful for everyone who’s supported us through this journey, from wedding planning to everything that comes next!
