In the intricate tapestry of fate, the love saga of Alex and Chris began weaving its threads long before their eyes ever locked in a tender gaze. Whispers of each other's existence traversed the corridors of destiny, carried by the breath of colleagues who wove the tale of a love yet to be unveiled. In the kingdom of the corporate realm, Alex's confidante persistently shared anecdotes of Chris, extolling virtues and foreseeing a cosmic connection. However, Alex, guarded by a veil of awkwardness, shied away from the orchestrated encounters, as the stars held their breath in anticipation. On the other side of the cosmic dance, Chris learned of Alex through the mellifluous narrations of a dear friend. Tales of her greatness echoed in Chris' ears, setting the stage for an encounter scripted by celestial hands. The fateful moment arrived when Alex's sovereign, the ruler of the professional domain, decreed the hiring of Chris. In that instant, the cosmic forces smiled knowingly, for the destined meeting was now an irrefutable decree. Unaware of Chris's divine allure, Alex was faced with the inevitability of their encounter. Their eyes finally met in the hallowed halls of labor, and the universe rejoiced. The heavens serenaded their meeting with harmonious melodies, oceans roared in approval, and the planets, in a rare alignment, bestowed their blessing upon this union. Love, profound and instantaneous, sprouted in the fertile soil of their hearts. Yet, the stern decree of professionalism sought to bind their hearts in a chaste dance, as weeks of awkward avoidance ensued. Work events, happy hours, and meetings became the stage for a carefully choreographed friendship, a guise that concealed the fiery passion simmering beneath the surface. As the moons waxed and waned, their connection deepened, and the walls they erected began to crumble. The first kiss, a sweet surrender to the symphony of emotions, heralded the unraveling of destiny's design. Their love burgeoned, defying the constraints of time and circumstance. In the quietude of Alex's kitchen, bathed in the soft glow of affection, Chris, a modern-day suitor, knelt and offered a token of commitment on March 23, 2023. A private proclamation that echoed through the realms, sealing their fate in an eternal bond.&nbsp; Two noble companions, Ruby and Sage, adorned their days with canine joy, as Alex and Chris, now the architects of their own destiny, set forth on a journey. In the vibrant city of Austin, they crafted a haven for their love, dreaming of traversing the world hand in hand, eternally bound in the epic tale of their love.

The attire for the wedding is Semi-Formal with a hint of FUNK! This is not required, but HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. Dress up and have fun with it! This is one of our favorite bars in Austin. They have great cocktails and snacks! Don’t forget to try the espresso martini on draft and their delicious smash burger.&nbsp;

Howards Bar & Club

This was where we went on our first date. Though it’s an amazing seafood restaurant, it has the best burger in Austin! The restaurant is small, so best to make reservations ahead of time.

Clark's Oyster Bar - Austin

This is a great way to get a little fresh air and some great views of the city. We love to take the dogs for walks on the boardwalk.&nbsp;

The Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake

One of our newer favorite places. They have the best margaritas in town! Walk out to the patio and get tacos from the food truck, you won’t be disappointed! We recommend the cochinita pibil tacos or the birria quesadillas. Ideal for large groups.

Lulu’s

This is our favorite sushi spot in Austin. We recommend the bird's nest salad to start your meal off right! Don't forget to make a reservation ahead of time. Try to sit at the counter for a fun experience.

Neighborhood Sushi

This is a great spot for burgers and drinks. If you fancy a swim, you can take a dip in the Deep Eddy Pool right next door.

An Austin classic! Just a good, no frills bar!

Mean Eyed Cat

This is one of our favorite places to get breakfast. They also have good pizza and a nice natural wine selection.

The Meteor

This is a newer place that just opened up, but they have a cafe, drinks, and tacos. The outdoor space is just lovely!

Cosmic Saltillo

They usually have live music here. Stop here for some tacos and margs before or after you go shopping on South Congress!
