Wedding Day
What is the Wedding Venue?
Our Wedding Day will be held at a local beach club on Playa Norte called Zama Lounge and Beach. Both the symbolic ceremony and the reception will be outdoors (weather permitting) next to the ocean and in the sand.
Are Children Invited?
While we love all of the children in our lives, our wedding and reception will be an adults-only event.
Is there a dress code?
The Wedding Day attire is Semi-Formal Beach.
For women, consider a cocktail or flowy maxi dress. We will be in the sand so instead of heels, wear a pair of strappy or platform sandals.
For men, consider a sport coat or button down shirt and dress pants.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we're only inviting our closest loved ones. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Travel
When should I book my accommodations?
As soon as possible! April is high season in Isla so hotels are filling up quickly. Please see our accommodations tab for recommendations.
What will the weather be like?
The weather will likely (hopefully!) be warm and sunny with average temperatures around 80 degrees. Both humidity and UV Index are typically high so make sure to pack light, cool clothes and lots of sunscreen.
What payment methods are available on the island?
Many places on the island accept credit cards but there are several establishments that are cash only. US dollars can be used; however, to avoid higher exchange rates, we recommend getting pesos (the Mexican currency). You can do this at (1) your bank prior to traveling, (2) the airport currency exchange counter or (3) an ATM in Mexico. Please note: exchanging at the airport or using an ATM can result in higher exchange rates and/or fees.
