Our journey together began in the early 2000s, when we first crossed paths through school projects, sports, and various activities. Our earliest memories are from when we were just six years old, playing T-Ball together, which sparked the start of a special connection. As time passed, our friendship blossomed—whether it was catching up during school breaks, skating at the Mountjoy rink, or simply spending time at each other’s homes. Through laughter, long texts, and shared moments, we became inseparable. After months of anticipation, Alex finally mustered the courage to ask Véronika out, and from that moment on, our love story began to unfold. Today, we are thrilled to be celebrating this next chapter, surrounded by the love and support of those who have watched our story grow.

I’m overjoyed to introduce Réanne, my maid of honour and lifelong best friend. Since our childhood, Réanne has been a steady source of support, laughter, and insight in my life. From the sports we played together to the classroom adventures, every moment with her felt like an adventure. We cheered each other on through every challenge, celebrated every little victory, and created memories that will last a lifetime. We also had the opportunity to be university roommates, where we spent many nights studying (and sometimes procrastinating!), but through it all, she was the one who kept me grounded and laughing. Our friendship has shaped so many of my best memories, and I feel so incredibly lucky to have her by my side through it all.

I’m excited to introduce Gabrielle, my best friend from high school, who has been an incredible part of my life journey. From the moment we met in 2016 through mutual friends,  Gabby has been a steadfast companion and a cherished friend. Gabby has always been there, offering her love, guidance, and laughter in ways that only she can. Whether we're decorating cupcakes, cheering at hockey games, or sipping wine on Friday nights, her vibrant and joyful personality makes every moment spent together enjoyable. She’s not just my best friend—she’s family, and I’m beyond blessed to have her in my life.


Gabrielle Benson

I’m delighted to introduce my eldest sister, Cynthia, who has been a guiding light and a steadfast support throughout my life. Growing up, Cynthia was not just a sibling; she was also a mentor and a friend. From the very beginning, she’s shown me the importance of following my passions and doing everything with purpose. Whether it's navigating the professional world or embarking on exciting adventures, I know I can always count on her to be there for me throughout my life.  There’s a unique kind of magic in being the little sister, and I feel incredibly lucky to have such an amazing older sister who has always led the way with love and care.


Cynthia Séguin

I’m thrilled to introduce my middle sister, Vanessa, who has been an indispensable part of my life. She brings a unique blend of warmth, humour, and creativity that always lights up a room.

Growing up, Vanessa and I have shared countless moments of laughter and adventures together. Whether we are singing at the top of our lungs to our favourite songs at a concert or exploring new places together, I know I can always count on her to have a good time and enjoy life to its fullest. Being her little sister is a special gift, and I’m lucky to have her by my side on this special day.

I’m thrilled to introduce Cloé, my university best friend. Cloé and I first met on campus when I spotted her walking alone, and, since I wasn’t a fan of the dark, I nervously asked if she’d join me on my way to class. That simple moment turned into a lasting friendship that I’ll forever cherish. From our first day on campus to our countless adventures, Cloé has been a constant source of support, laughter, and inspiration. Whether we were pulling all-nighters to finish assignments, grabbing coffee between classes, or embarking on spontaneous road trips, she was always there, making even the most stressful times feel light. Cloé is not just a friend - she is my soul-sister and I'm truly blessed to have her by my side.

I’m excited to introduce Andrea, a wonderful person I had the pleasure of meeting through one of my oldest friends, Damon Demontigny. From the moment we met, Andrea brought a unique spark to my life with her infectious energy, warmth and kindness. Andrea and I share so many similarities that make our bond truly special. From our love of sports to our appreciation for food and cooking, as well fashion and music, we often find ourselves on the same wavelength. It’s these common passions that have deepened our connection and made our friendship so meaningful. She’s the person I turn to in moments of joy and challenge alike, and her unwavering loyalty and kindness make her an irreplaceable part of my life.


Andrea Elia

Tyler and I go way back—like, kindergarten back. But it wasn’t until third grade at St-Dominique that we really became friends. The summer before fourth grade, my dad told me that Tyler and I were actually fourth cousins. I was pumped and couldn’t wait to tell him on the first day of school. Of course, he didn’t believe me at first, but after checking with his mom, he found out it was true. From that moment on, we were inseparable. Through the years, we built a bond that has only grown stronger. I chose Tyler as my best man because of everything we’ve been through, but also because of how close he is with Véronika. Funny enough, he knew her even before I did. He’s been there at every stage of our relationship—all the way since we were just a group of friends hanging out in the 8th grade.  Tyler is the ultimate smart-ass, always ready with a witty comeback. He’s also the undisputed king of nicknames—seriously, I think he has over a dozen. But beyond the jokes, he’s one of the most thoughtful and reliable people I know. If I ever need to talk, he’s there. No judgment, no awkwardness—just honesty. I couldn't ask for a better best man.

Jacob isn’t just my big brother—he’s been an instigator, a role model, and now, one of my closest friends.


Growing up, we spent a lot of time together, always putting on a show—literally. Whether it was music concerts for our parents, grandparents, and neighbors, our hockey analysis segments during intermissions of NHL games or the countless movies and videos we made, we were always entertaining.


Like any big brother, Jacob knew exactly how to push my buttons. He was an elite-level instigator, always toeing the line between playful and too far—until I finally pushed back. But as we got older, I started to see him less as the annoying big brother and more as someone I truly admired. He was smart, well-respected, and carried himself with a maturity that I looked up to (though we still had our fair share of immature fun).



Nowadays, I don’t just see Jacob as my older brother—I see him as one of my biggest supporters and one of my best friends. I still go to him for advice, for a hand when I need one, or just to have a good time. He went from being the instigator to being a role model, and now, he’s someone I trust and respect more than I can put into words.

Jacob Lessard

Brad has been a part of my life since we were kids when we first played novice hockey together on the Blue Heron High Flyers. At the time, I knew him as "Buzzer Bonsall" because no matter how hard he tried to score, the buzzer always seemed to go off right before the puck crossed the goal line. From hockey tournaments to school lunches, building a cabin in the bush, and spending countless weekends at his cottage, Brad and I have shared more memories than I can count. We've been teammates, classmates, and coworkers, and even travelled together to Jamaica on a humanitarian trip in our senior year. Even when we lived in different cities during college, we stayed connected—whether online or visiting eachother.
Brad is the problem solver and initiator of the group. If he knows there's nothing planned on a weekend night, you can count on him to arrange a poker game for us. As an architect and a design fanatic, he's also the creative mind behind so many of our ideas—from our high school grad sweaters to our beer league jerseys and even custom decks of cards. Brad is incredibly loyal, hardworking, and dedicated to everything he does. A true friend who's been a constant in my life and a friend I know I can always count on.

Bradley Bonsall

Steve and I met each other in elementary school, and we became close in grade five, and from that point on, we built an incredible friendship. Whether it was playing hockey, getting candy from Kiddies, or pulling all-nighters playing Call of Duty zombies at sleepovers, we were always up to something.

Of course, like any good friendship, we had our rivalries. Whether it was arguing about the Blackhawks and Flyers in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final (where my Blackhawks won, of course), debating video games, or going back and forth over just about anything sports-related, we never saw eye to eye on everything. But no matter how heated our debates got, we always had each other’s backs. Steve was always there for me, and I was always there for him. Steve is also the comedian of the group. Whether he’s trying to or not, he’s always bringing laughs, and the more you know him, the thicker your skin has to be. He’s brutally honest at times, but that’s part of his charm—you know he does it out of love. Steve is an extremely loyal, energetic and humorous. Over the years, we’ve shared too many memories to count, and I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without him. From childhood to now, he’s been a true friend.


Steven Duciaume

Noah has been one of my best friends since elementary school, and from day one, he's been the guy who puts others before himself. Some may know Noah as the star of Lessy Vlogs, which he volunteered to do, but I've always known him as a selfless, hilarious, and loyal friend who makes life more fun. Our friendship grew naturally over the years. As kids, Noah would come over to watch me play Mario Galaxy—which, looking back, was incredibly selfish of me, but we both laugh about it now. Then we started playing hockey together and became even closer. In high school, we went to the gym every night after school. Once I got my driver's license, I'd pick him up almost every other night—sometimes to shoot vlog footage, sometimes just for a Tim Hortons run. Even now, we still make it a point to hang out every Sunday, whether it's to watch football or grab breakfast at Mike's. Noah is one of the funniest guys I know; his sense of humour is sharp, and he always knows how to lighten the mood. But beyond that, he's honest, sensible, and always there when you need him. He's the kind of friend who sticks around for life, and I couldn't imagine this day without him.

Noah Belanger

Damon has been my guy since elementary school—the moment the teacher said “group project,” we’d look across the room at each other because we already knew we were teaming up. We had this natural sync—bouncing ideas off each other and pushing to make the best video projects possible. And, of course, every one of them had bloopers at the end, sometimes just as long as the actual project. From classmates to teammates to gym partners in high school, our bond grew beyond sports and school, and now he's just an incredible friend. Damon is the glue guy in the group. He puts everyone else first, always making sure the people around him are taken care of. Damon has always been one of the most driven and hardworking people I know. Whether it was pushing each other to hit new PRs in the gym or having deep talks about life, he’s always been someone who leads by example and brings out the best in those around him.

But don’t let his dedication fool you—Damon knows how to have a good time. He’s got that perfect balance of being competitive and laid-back, always down for a laugh, and always up for whatever’s next. I’m lucky to have him standing beside me on my wedding day.
