Alex and Rylie met during their junior year of high school, brought together by their shared passion for choir. Rylie, with a bit of persuasion, introduced Alex to Hamilton Boulevard. Shortly thereafter, they found themselves involved in the high school musical titled "Back to the 80's," marking the beginning of their relationship.

Upon graduating from Douglas High School, both Alex and Rylie decided to further their education at the University of Wyoming. However, after two years, they realized that a different path beckoned them. They returned to Douglas and commenced online studies at Liberty University.

During their five years together, Alex and Rylie actively participated in or led over 10 short-term mission trips. Notably, three of these missions took them internationally to Belize, where, during the last trip, Alex proposed to Rylie on the beach.

Now, as their wedding approaches, Alex and Rylie have successfully earned their Bachelor's degrees in their respective studies of History and Ministry. They are currently contemplating the next steps in their lives after marriage.
