Whoever Said You Can’t Find Love in Seaside Heights Clearly Never Tried :)

Alex and Josh’s story kicked off on June 11, 2021, in the bustling chaos of Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Alex was there for her senior prom weekend, focused on making memories with her girlfriends, while Josh had just finished CFT and was at the shore with his teammates, looking to relax and maybe eat his weight in boardwalk snacks. Neither of them planned on finding their future spouse.

The chaos started when Alex’s friend spotted one of Josh’s teammates and said, “Wow, he’s cute!” Alex, deeply committed to her fried Oreos, casually suggested her friend go talk to him. Her friend, however, chickened out. Enter Alex, armed with carbs and confidence, to save the day.

Committed to her mission she followed the guy down the boardwalk to get his number for her friend, only to realize he had stopped in front of a group of teammates—which included Josh. After securing the first number, Alex glanced at Josh and thought, Hmm, while I’m here… So naturally, she got his number too.

Fast forward to that evening: Alex and Josh started chatting and decided to meet up on the boardwalk. The photo you see here is the very first they took together, right after Alex said, “We need to take a picture because no one is going to believe I met you like this!” And just like that, Seaside Heights became a great place to find love.
