Parking lots are available on site. Vehicles may be left on the property overnight, but must be cleared by 8:30 a.m. the following day.&nbsp;

Places to Stay

The city of Mora has a limited number of hotels near our venue, but there are many Airbnb listings in the area! That said, we have compiled a few hotels for your convenience. We recommend the first hotel listed below, as that is where we will be providing shuttles.

Shuttles

We will have a shuttle service that will be picking up &amp; dropping off guests who are staying at The American Inn Lodge &amp; Suites (the first hotel listed above). Please note: if you plan to drink &amp; choose to stay at an Airbnb or a different hotel, please carpool or find a car service. Shuttle schedule TBD.

Ivory North

Ivory North was originally built in the early 1900s, then remodeled &amp; opened for its first wedding in 2020. The space is tucked away on 40 diverse acres of fields, flowers, and trees. The all white, historic gambrel barn has many vast windows that provide gorgeous natural light for a bright, airy feel. Pair that with a beautiful open-air pavilion and you have a Minnesota barn venue unlike any other. Ivory North combines the laid-back vibe of a “country wedding” with a modern design. A marriage of the old and the new, Ivory North joins historic charm with bright whites, natural tones, and modern fixtures. We cannot wait for you to fall in love with Ivory North the way we have!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will be starting at 4:30 p.m. Please plan to arrive by 4:15 p.m. at the latest to ensure you have time to find seating!

Can I bring a plus one?

We would love to invite everyone to our wedding, but unfortunately cannot accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us.

What should I wear?

We encourage the guys to wear a suit or collared button-up with a tie &amp; dress pants. For the gals, a nice midi/maxi dress will be perfect. We would love to see you dress up with us!

What is the best way to RSVP?

In order to accurately collect dinner selections, please utilize the physical RSVP card included in your formal mail invite to fill out &amp; mail back to us.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Drinks are on us all night. No need to bring cash unless to tip.

Are the bride & groom going on a honeymoon?

Yes! We will be leaving for Florence, Italy the Sunday after the wedding. From there we will be making our way to Rome, Italy &amp; ending in Santorini, Greece!

The Story of Alex & Taylor

In the 5th grade, Alex &amp; I were both in Ms. Fishers class. We would have holiday parties where our class would play themed games, have fun snacks, &amp; get excited for the upcoming school break. We were paired together for one of the games: holiday charades. Our slip of paper said 'birds flying south for the winter,' so he thought up a plan, and we pretended to fly like birds in a circle until someone guessed it. From that day forward, 10 year old me had the biggest crush on him. As fate would have it, my grade school crush sat right behind me in Ms. Fishers class. I would spend half of the day looking at the 'clock' on the back wall of the classroom, when I was really sneaking glances at Alex. I finally mustered up enough courage to have one of my friends pass him a note that said, “will you be my boyfriend?” He said yes. Now I know we were only 10, and being boyfriend/girlfriend really just meant we sat next to each other at lunch and spent time together during recess. But when I was that age, I took it seriously. So much so, that when 6th grade rolled around and we hadn't held hands yet, I broke up with him. 2 years went by before we finally entered each other's lives again. Alex had broken both of his wrists playing hockey, and my friend had to be his note taker in one of his classes. When she asked me about him, I realized the grade school crush was still there. Another note was passed to him on my behalf: “I still have feelings for you, text me.” From 8th to 9th grade, Alex and I would text each other, talk on the phone until one of us would run out of minutes, pass each other countless amounts of notes, and had what people called 'a thing.' We weren't dating, but we weren't just friends either. December 14th, 2014, Alex texted me while I was working on a school project at a friend's house: “will you be my girlfriend?” We have been together ever since. On September 30th, 2023, Alex proposed to me at Palisade Head up on the North Shore. What was guised as a 'girls day' turned into one of the most special days of my life. We are forever thankful for our dear friend, Emily, who will now stand with us on our wedding day, for capturing a day we will cherish forever. To Alex - I have been dreaming of marrying you since I was a kid, using up every birthday candle wish I had on this dream. I cannot wait to marry you.xoxo, your bride &lt;3
