Our Wedding

Alex's first job out of college was as a Corporate Security Office at the Great American Tower, downtown Cincinnati, where Nick was already working. It wasn't until the lobby desk officer left and Alex's schedule evened out for them to meet. Alex and Nick got to work every Sunday and almost every work day morning together. One thing lead to another and they became "friends". Outside of work Alex would go over to Nick's apartment for a movie night or vice versa, and the more they got to know each other the more they liked each other. After a few weeks, Nick and Alex finally decided to be more than friends. After about 9 months of secretly dating, both Nick and Alex put in there resignations at Great American Tower to move to Virginia together. They spent a year in the crowded, but pretty Virginia until they decided to move to Utah. 5 years later in Utah, Nick proposed on March 19, 2022 on our way to one of our favorite breakfast spots in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

There will be a shuttle to take guest to and from the Hyatt Hotel and River Bridge Event Center. The shuttle will pick guests up at 3 PM and 3:30 PM at the Hyatt Hotel for guests to arrive for the ceremony. If you do not wish to ride the shuttle, you can rent a car, ride with a friend, or use Uber or Lyft to get to the event center. Shuttles will start picking up guests at the Event Center at 8:30 PM and will run until 11 PM (closing time) to take guests back to the Hyatt Hotel.
