We apologize for the delay in communication as we have been doing our best to navigate the wedding with Covid-19. *There has been a venue change* from when we originally began the planning and booked all of our vendors. We will now be holding our wedding and reception at The Kelley property, Selah Acres 2857 Old Highway 99 N Road, Burlington WA 98233. We would love to see you there! We kindly ask that you treat this as a date night and enjoy some time kiddo free! With it being October there is a chance of wet grounds if you would like to plan shoes accordingly. Where do we even start... A little over a year ago I (Alex) had just started my tour with Carry The Love traveling through Bellingham, WA. Mariah was hosting our team that entire week. The night Mariah and I met for the first time we had just gotten done with band rehearsal and were meeting the rest of the team in a room that everyone was praying in. The moment I walked in we both caught each others attention. We both knew that there something different and special about both of us. Later that week our van ends up breaking down causing us to stay longer in Bellingham. She ends up taking us to a couple of places to hangout in bellingham so that we could all enjoy each others time together. Mariah and I hit it off the moment we started talking. Later that night we ended up staying up until 2 that morning just talking... I got her number the next day. (If the van would have never broken down Mariah and I would have never been a thing today). After about 3 months of pursuing her I bought her a plane ticket to come to Alabama and meet my family. When I picked her up in Nashville I cried and knew that she was the one I'd spend the rest of my life with. After a week of being together we went on our last date together. We were up on a mountain overlooking the city of Huntsville. I looked over at her and said, "babe I have never said nor felt this was way about anybody.. the moment I saw you at the airport I knew that I would spend the rest of my life with you and I love you with all my heart". She cried with the response of saying I love you back. 6 months later I got on one knee, asked her to marry me, and SHE SAID YES! The rest is history!
