Darryl and I will be celebrating our second wedding anniversary this December. He is constantly talking about getting all of our family together to formally meet and unite as one. We intended to celebrate our 1st anniversary with you all but "life happens." In our first year of marriage (which is traditionally challenging) I found comfort in this scripture :

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

9Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Two is just better! So I am ecstatic to surprise the man who is so giving and selfless to everyone he encounters with a vow renewal celebration amongst our family and friends!

Remember it is a complete surprise, he knows absolutely nothing. I can't wait to see the look on his face and I can't wait to have the best time with all of you!
