Our journey began at Georgetown College when Reese took a leap of faith and messaged Alex on Instagram- asking her on a date! Our first date was at Galvin’s, where we talked until the restaurant closed. From that first date, we knew we had something special!

We spent the next six amazing years dating, while navigating our college years at Georgetown, as well as both living in Lexington where we attended graduate school. From late-night study sessions to spontaneous road trips, every moment together has been so special and created lasting memories.

The highlight of our journey came when Reese proposed at Indian Creek Christian Church in Cynthiana, KY, a moment we’ll cherish forever.

Now, we are thrilled to celebrate the next chapter of our lives as we tie the knot and embark on this beautiful journey together as the future Ashers!
