We met in 2021 when Alex was working full time as an EMT at the fire department constantly bringing patients to Emily's ER. After months of thinking the other was cute, a pair of coworkers helped to get Alex her phone number on his birthday and after a classic pick up line, he convinced Emily to go on a date with him. Obviously, it went well.

Call the hotel to book and say that you are booking in the room block for in the Piekarczyk Wedding (Emily's family you can reference the invite for pronunciation help.) The absolute last cutoff day is 4/17/25 to book in the block but it may fill up faster. The above number is to the Sales Director Travis.If you are unable to reach him, the number for the front desk is: 812-914-4100 This hotel is across the river in Indiana. It is around 10 minutes away from the venue if you take the toll bridge or 15 minutes on the free Clark Memorial/2nd Street bridge, though you will have to drive downtown if you take the Clark Memorial bridge. The toll is $2.60 each way if you have an Ez-pass or I-pass. It is $5.22 each way if you do not have a transponder and they send you a bill in the mail.

Transportation

If you are driving to the venue, there is plenty of parking on site for free.Uber/Lyft is very abundant in Louisville and Southern Indiana for anyone that will be consuming alcohol or just do not wish to drive.We will not have any kind of shuttle service.

Airbnb/VRBO

Airbnb and VRBO are also plentiful in the area. I would recommend looking in Nulu, East of the venue, and in Southern Indiana. If you have any questions as to where is good/safe to say please reach out to Alex 815-954-9426.

If you would like to stay at a different hotel, perhaps one in Louisville itself, or there are no more rooms available in the block there are plenty of other options in the area. Keep in mind that some of the downtown hotels will charge for parking per night and the taxes are higher on the Louisville side of the river. Below are a bunch of hotels that are not far from the venue, though there are many more options around. We do not have any room blocks set up at the hotels below.
