Our Wedding

It all started in January 2022. Alex sent a friend request to J.P. on Facebook and he accepted the friend request but that's where the story ends for about a week. On a Tuesday evening, J.P. messaged Alex out of the blue. He asked how her holiday was, how her family was, and was showing some interest. Alex thought his charm was just to eventually sell her insurance - which she still jokes he may do someday. She ultimately agreed to their first date at Tempus that Friday. During the date, Alex mentioned she had not been to a St. Louis Blues game that season and J.P. "just happened to have an extra ticket for the game the following night"! She got to meet J.P.'s cousin and his wife on night two. Little did Alex know that J.P. was supposed to take his future brother-in-law and to this day, Alex owes him a Blues game. Alex &amp; J.P.'s families have known each other for quite some time. Alex was on the cheerleading squad in high school with J.P.'s sister and their brothers played baseball together for years. Alex still remembers sitting with J.P.'s parents at the games. One summer, J.P. was home from college and Alex's mom insisted she go say hi to him but "he was too much older and in college!". Fast forward 15 years and Alex might as well have taken her mom's advice back then! Over the last two years, Alex and J.P. have experienced many milestones and adventures together. They bought their first home together in April 2023 and brought home their sweet puppy, Annie, two weeks later. They have traveled all over from Florida, New York, Table Rock Lake, and their most lifechanging trip to Colorado in August 2023 where they got engaged on Lake Dillon. Since that day, we have been planning our dream wedding where we will get to share our love with all of our dearest friends and family. We are so thankful for all of the love and support we have been shown and can't wait to see you all on July 20, 2024! Love, J.P. &amp; Alex
