We hope you can stay both Friday and Saturday night so that we can spend enough time with all of you to celebrate our weekend.  You can book the hotel through our personalized link in the travel section.

Our Wedding

We are so excited to spend this time with all of you, and we would love for as many people as possible to also be able to spend Friday night with us for our Welcome Party.

Please book through the provided link for our hotel block. We have the entire property booked out, and the Website link will have the best rates! You can also lock in rates from Wednesday through Monday at the discounted rate if you'd like to enjoy some extra time in the area.

For those that are traveling by plane the closest airport is Reno-Tahoe international airport.

Within 30 Minutes

Visit Graegle and have a pint at the <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/wu8XhQcyYswxUgTa9" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Brewing Lair</a>, or some lunch and ice cream at <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/62nZbSKqmYmY5Un49" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Graegle Mountain Frostee</a>. You can venture to the Lakes Basin Recreation Area for hiking or fishing. Some hiking options are listed on the <a href="https://plumascounty.org/get-outside/places-to-visit/lakes-basin-recreation-area/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Lakes Basin Recreation Area website</a>, or you can check out <a href="https://nakomaresort.com/activities/hiking/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Nakoma's website</a>, featuring the Plumas hike or <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/bear-lakes-and-round-lake-loop-trail" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bear Lakes Trail.</a> To fish, you can venture out, or even stay right on the <a href="https://nakomaresort.com/activities/fishing/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Nakoma property</a> via a short hike.

A Little Further

Visit Truckee for a little exploration of the cute town or go just a little further away for Lake Tahoe. You'll want to make sure you stop at King's Beach for some <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/ggcLdqULSpLRkMh7A" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ice cream</a>. For lunch - without going too far - we recommend <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/D4Hm2XVJQ9Sb6iAg9" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Jason's Beachside Grill</a> or <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/9mFnRhJrFA9wFC2s7" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Gar Woods</a> (make sure to get the Wet Woody's!) Remember, it's Summer so a reservation is recommended!

Things to Do

Surprise surprise, we met.......online! We both swiped right and are so glad we did. Our first date started at a special place to us both now, Chapel bar. Things went so well we didnt want it to end so we ended up on a little adventure around Reno. We continued to date and ended up making a home together in Reno with our crazy corgi Jack Jack and sweet little cat Nori, AKA little ma’am. We enjoy spending time at home with our animals or getting outside whether that includes playing tennis/pickle ball, going to Tahoe in the summer with friends, traveling or spending time in Reno trying new restaurants with friends.

Our Story

Our wedding will be cocktail attire! Suits for men, formal jumpsuits, cocktail dresses ( knee length or longer) for the ladies! Groomsmen will be wearing navy blue suits and bridesmaids will be wearing baby blue long dresses. PSA- the entire wedding will be outside ( weather permitting) and on the grass. Block heels would be best for the ladies! Please bring a jacket just in case.
