How We Met

It was the year 2012, we were sophomores in high school. We were both in marching band at Downey High. As time went on our paths began to cross, and we soon became inseparable. From getting to know each other on late nights coming back home from band competitions or Friday night football games with all our friends, to soon realizing that had something special. We are happy to say that we are the true definition of high school sweethearts. Although high school was many years ago, we definitely made many adventures and memories from the many dates we had visiting our favorite place, Disneyland.

First Date

We would love to say that our first date was grand and amazing, but as secretive high schoolers we planned to meet at Olive Garden where we shared our first official date, romantic in our own way. What we say is our most memorable date, however, is one of the first times we visited Disneyland. It’s a time that we both look back on and reflect on how much we’ve grown and will continue to grow as we still continue to visit to this day. As Disneyland has became a huge part of our journey, we hope to have the opportunity to take our children one day.

The Proposal

Now the proposal was definitely a rollercoaster. Keeping things a secret from Nataly is no simple task, but we managed to take her breath away. Needless to say with a help from our parents and siblings the mission was able to be accomplished. On August 13th, 2023 we made the promise to soon say "I Do" to committing to each other for the rest of our lives and never looking back.

Looking Forward

As for this next chapter in our lives, we are both eager to grow our journey and experience life as husband as wife. More than anything we are ready to explore the world together.
