Our Story

Harrison and I started as friends during our sophomore year of high school at Trinity Christian Academy. Still, it wasn't until the summer, going into our junior year, that we started officially dating. Despite going to different high schools from then on, me at Covenant and Harrison still at TCA, our junior year was filled with school dances (so many) and sweet firsts! It was in November of 2018 that Harrison first told me he loved me, and that's a memory I will always hold onto so dearly!
Our senior year was equally, if not more memorable, as Harrison and I had two huge wins that year! We both committed to attending Baylor University for college (something neither of us imagined happening) and got our beloved bernedoodle, Bucket (a.k.a. everyone's favorite).

Fast forward to our first year at Baylor, and two years into dating, Harrison and I saw the Lord work at maturing us and our relationship. While this was undoubtedly our most challenging year, I think it's safe to say neither of us would change it. Through the immense change that comes with going to college, the Lord made Harrison and me better communicators and better listeners and helped us open up to each other in ways we hadn't had the courage to before. Our life groups and communities through Tri Delt, Phi Chi, and Harris Creek pushed us to be better followers of Christ, and in return, we learned how to love each other better!
Our sophomore, junior, and senior college years have brought us so much joy. We have gotten to travel with each other's families, prioritize leading our relationship in Christ, grow incredible friendships, attend our friends' weddings, and so much more!

December 16th, 2023, will forever be one of our most memorable days (second only to the day we will get married) since that is the day Harrison asked me to marry him! In the company of some of our dearest people, I said yes without a moment of hesitation!!!
Poor Harrison almost didn't get the words out before I said yes and gave him the biggest hug I could muster! Truly, I have never been more honored to be the woman that Harrison chose to be his wife. What a gift!

The Lord has been so abundantly good to Harrison and me these past six years. We have been given a chance to choose to love each other every day and treasure the fact that we've grown up and grown in faith, both together and individually. Throughout every moment, God has been faithful in pushing and refining us. Prayerfully, His hand has been present in every choice we've made thus far, from going to Baylor to moving to North Carolina, and we know that He will continue to be faithful for all the days to come. We ask that you join us in praying that our marriage will reflect His Kingdom in Heaven!

Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds. -Psalm 36:5
