We first met in early 2018 in Fredericton, NB. Our first “official” date wasn't until June 17, 2018, when we went to the Drive In to see the Incredibles 2. We kept things casual, until August 24, 2018, when Alex said, "do you want to go steady?".

We spent lots of time in Fredericton visiting Jessika and Daniel Daley. We often hungout with them (and still do) seeing as Daniel is Alex’s best friend, and Jessika is Alysha’s sister. They were the reason we got together in the first place, so we owe it to them to say thank you.

We went to a Montreal Canadien's game as a late birthday celebration for Alex. His first NHL game in one of the best cities. We had a blast!

We were asked to be models for a photo shoot that happened to be on Alysha's birthday. It was definitely out of our comfort zone, but the photos turned out great.

We attended the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in PEI with friends and family. It was a first "Cavy" experience for us both. Nothing like a weekend of music, drinks and good times. We still talk about how much fun this weekend was.

Hurricane Lee didn’t stop us from making the best of a weekend away with friends in Wolfville, NS. It was our first time going to the wineries, and it didn't disappoint.

Our first Europe trip. We try to travel somewhere each year as it’s our favorite thing to do together. So far, we have gone to 9 countries together including USA, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, England and Kosovo. Can't wait to see where we go next!

The proposal... We were dancing in the living room together, laughing and having a good time. Alex said "I love you so much Alysha", to which she replied "not enough to make me your wife though" (LOL).. he responded with "but do you want to be my wife?" and then got down on one knee and asked again. It was the most pure and special moment.
