It all began with a kind-hearted Tennessee boy who simply asked a Southern California girl to "grab a cup of coffee." That coffee date stretched into five and a half hours and, in many ways, never really ended. From that day on, Dani and Alex found themselves seeing each other every weekend or making excuses to "bump into each other" at Bodhi.

Their journey as a couple officially began on a trip to Lake Arrowhead, where they sat on a dock, watching the gentle ripples dance across the water. In that quiet moment, they decided they wanted to create ripples of their own—together.

After two and a half years of dating, Alex finally popped the question at the place where they said they loved each other for the first time.

Through life's highs and lows, Alex and Dani have walked hand in hand, keeping their eyes on the Lord, trusting that He was guiding them through every step of their journey. Now they are ready to walk into a new season of life with marriage.
