It all started at Black Bear Diner in Owasso, where Sierra was working and Alex came in to visit his sister, who also worked there. A little bit of small talk and a few Snapchats later, they finally went on their first date. A few weeks later, Alex asked Sierra to be his girlfriend!

The first few months of dating were an interesting time filled with laughter, tears, late nights, and a few awkward moments as they got to know each other. Like everyone else, they faced the challenges of COVID, and soon after, long distance when Sierra moved to college.

Four years of long distance, many trips to Norman for Alex, and countless phone calls later, they made it! After graduation, Sierra moved back to Owasso, and they moved in together.

On October 19th, 2024, after a few months of living together, Alex (finally!) popped the question in a sunflower field. It was the most perfect day full of tears, smiles, and surrounded by love.

Now, they’re excited to start this next chapter together and celebrate the love they share.

They chose July 12th for their wedding day because it’s the anniversary of when Alex asked Sierra to be his girlfriend—the start of their story. Now, it’s the day they will become husband and wife!
