That’s tough, I seriously love everything about you. But, I love your work ethic and how determined you are to make the best life for us. There’s plenty of hard days in this world, but you’re someone who will always outrun the bad situation to find an amazing one. You’re such an inspiration to many in your life and I couldn’t be prouder of the woman you are. I’m extremely grateful to have you by my side.

Love. I decided one day I loved you and there was nothing you or anyone could do to change that. It’s just a feeling you can’t explain. There’s lot of things I love about who you are and what you bring to my life. Other things like your fun loving spirit that always keeps things interesting, your ability to make me feel protected and loved, and your little quarks that show me a different side of life I was missing out on.

I’m excited! Don’t get me wrong, I’m also nervous. But, I don’t feel anyone is ever “ready” to be a parent. It’s all about learning together, what works and what doesn’t. I’m excited to have a child that reflects traits of both of us. To support them through the ups and downs, to watch them grow, and to eventually have them carry on our legacy. Being a parent with you is going to bring us closer than ever and I can’t wait for that.

You’ll be the best combination of fun and principled. You’re so funny sometimes when you parent me or our dog Avery. It’s fun for me to get a glimpse of that because it just a natural side of you that comes out, but only when necessary. Otherwise you’re all about having fun, living life to the fullest and being a GOON. I know you’ll be the fun parent. But also the one the kids fear the most at making mad.
