In West Chester, Pennsylvania born and raised.

In the lab is where she spends most of her days.

Purifying proteins, keeping 'em cool,

Getting a PhD at Vanderbilt's grad school.

When this nice Jewish guy, yeah he looked pretty good

Moved from Long Island to her neighborhood.

They went on one little date and her boss was there!

She said, "This is purely a coincidence, I swear."

They chatted for hours, late into the night.

Something about this just felt right.

He gave her a kiss and she gave him one back.

Their chemistry was truly an undeniable fact.

Second date, yo this is great.

Drinking whiskey, eating pizza 'til there's nothing on the plate.

Is this what the people of Nashville living like?

Hmm, this might be alright.

But wait, I hear they're country, redneck, all that.

Is this the type of place that could work for two northern cats?

They seem to think so,

Plenty of 'em live here.

As long as there's a place to get bagels and schmear.

Well, they moved in together two years after

And filled their home with food, friends, and laughter.

Then one late October night, he got down on one knee

And asked, "Will you spend the rest of time with me?"

They celebrated with family the rest of the year

In New York and Florida with copious cheers.

And once they returned back to Tennessee,

They adopted a pup, their beloved Riley.

They look forward to the spring of 2025

When the flowers bloom and nature comes alive.
