Alex and Michael met their senior year of high school when Michael sat behind Alex in their English class. They remained friends for the next few years until Alex transferred to Kent State University where Michael attended.

They started dating just before their junior year of college and the rest is history. Almost 8 years, 2 cities, 2 apartments, 1 home and the best golden retriever in the world later and here they are.

Michael surprised Alex with their engagement on November 19, 2022 with all of their closest family and friends. It was truly the best day!
