Rylie and Alex first met at a holiday party, December 2019, hosted by the Trumble's. Rylie was invited courtesy of Alejandro Vieyra, her future brother-in-law and the officiant of their wedding. They exchanged subtle looks and kept moving along through the night.

They flirted at the poker table as Alex tried to teach Rylie how to play, to this day he attributes his loss of the game to her beautiful distraction. They exchanged numbers and kept the conversation going over the next few days. After a couple of weeks they both knew something good was there, so they decided to give it a shot and started dating on January 11th, 2020.

Things moved quickly for them and they moved in together in March 2020. As we all know, 2020 proved to be a crazy year for everyone! Not many dates or adventures, but living together made for a great opportunity to learn all the beauties and flaws of one another.

It didn't take long for them to know that they wanted to dedicate their lives to each other They had similar plans for their futures, a desire to build a family, and the same ideas of what success meant. While it hasn't always been perfect and they have been through their fair share of rough patches, they have continued to show love to each other and work through the obstacles.

They continued to take their next steps forward and tie themselves together in more ways than one. They adopted their dog, Nala, in November 2021. A year later they bought their very first home together, November 2022. While their love story isn't the most traditional, and they don't always do things in the expected order or timeline, there was just one more clear step that needed to be taken.

As their 3 year anniversary creeped up, Alex knew that it was time and that she was the one. He went with his best friend and best man, Kortney Kaluza, to pick out a ring for his future wife.

On January 14th, 2023, when they got home from celebrating their anniversary, it finally happened. Alex, very nervous and excited, got down on one knee to asked the question that Rylie had been waiting for. He expressed his love for her and desire to spend his life with her. Rylie was ready to say yes before Alex even finished his thought....
