Their love story begins at Marist College, where two kids who would spend the rest of their lives together met for the first time. Coincidentally they grew up 5 minutes away from each other, yet never crossed paths before until September 2014.

Zach was a sophomore and Alex was a freshman when they first met. They quickly became close and were part of a tight group of friends who coined themselves “The League”. It was truly never a dull moment with those people. With each year that went by, Alex and Zach’s relationship grew closer. While it was solely platonic, there was always a little something between the two. So much so that Zach took an elective he definitely didn’t need, just to be in it with Alex! By Zach’s senior year, their friendship turned into so much more. Whether it was at 14 West Cedar St, Darby O’Gills or the Marist library, they went through pivotal moments of life together and learned so much along the way.

6 years, multiple John Mayer concerts, trips across the world, and many sushi dates later, their love for each other was undeniable. And while they live an adventurous life, nothing makes them both happier than being in their apartment on the couch, enjoying some Thai food, and binging their newest show together. Simply put, they found their perfect match.

The engagement - July 6th, 2022 they took a trip to Cape Cod where he proposed. He had a perfect speech prepared and a photographer ready to capture the moment. Alex was already in a state of shock when she came back to the rental house to find both of their families waiting for them…. everyone dressed white! They love a good white party. Everything was perfect, he planned an unforgettable day filled with so much love, and lots of happy tears. Cape Cod is a place that means a lot to Zach from childhood and a place he shared with Alex over the years of dating. The park will always be a spot for them to go back and visit together.

Looking towards the future, they both cannot wait to spend forever together. They are excited to continue exploring NYC, enjoying their new apartment, crossing off all of the destinations on their bucket list, and living life together with the best family and friends they could ever ask for. And as fate would have it, a lifetime of memories, love and endless laughter together.
