Please join the Bride and Groom at the Bridge Cafe and Grill to kick off the weekend celebrations! This will be a private event from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Dinner will not be provided. The Bridge is located at the Town Lift.

The Welcome Party

All guests are responsible for transportation to the ceremony at Silver Lake Lodge, Deer Valley Mountain Resort. Please arrive at the Silver Lake Lodge drop off area to take the Homestake Express chair lift up the mountain. (Uber, Lyft or public transportation recommended) Transportation shuttles will be provided to guests departing from the ceremony to the reception. There will be a shuttle from the reception to Main Street for those who want to keep the party going!

Wedding Day Transportation

The couple would like to incorporate a mountain theme into a traditional semi-formal dress code. There will be loose gravel at the ceremony site and uneven grass at the reception site so please plan your shoe choices accordingly. Boots and hats welcomed!

What is Mountain Semi-Formal Attire?

While we love your little ones, this celebration is adults-only. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Are kids welcome?

We have a strict guest list to stay within capacity for the venue. The number of guests invited will be written on your invitation!

Can I bring a date?

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

It all started with a swipe right...Yes, we met on the dating app, Hinge. No one thinks they'll actually find their soulmates via a dating app, but here we are! It is certainly a testimony to the power of the internet connecting people.&nbsp;It’s shocking that we never met before Hinge because we both went to FSU, our greek life houses were next door to each other, we're both South FL natives, and we share countless mutual friends and friends of friends. A few days into exchanging messages on Hinge, Alex realized she was messaging the 6'5" Peter from Florida State her friend Jess mentioned months prior. Jess, and her now fiancé Hunter, Peter's fraternity little brother, mentioned wanting to set up Alex and Peter months prior, but the app beat them to it! We'll give Hunter and Jess&nbsp;partial credit for the matchmaking because our first time meeting was a group date with them.&nbsp; Peter was in law school at the University of Miami at the time, and they started with a night out in Brickell before the rest became history. A few months later, Peter asked Alex to be his girlfriend after spending 2 days ATV'ing and camping at MudFest in Punta Gorda, FL. Romance at its finest. The relationship quickly grew when Peter got Boone, his German Shorthaired Pointer. Boone and Bodie, Alex's yellow lab, quickly became brothers after spending so much time together during Covid. Peter graduated law school and began studying for the bar during the summer of 2021. Alex quickly saw how disciplined and hardworking Peter was when he moved into her delray townhouse. Handsome, smart, and diligent with everything he did. He was also very neat and clean, a plus! Three years flew by and Alex and Peter decided they wanted to move to Fort Lauderdale for a change. Peter bought their first home, and the two started to build a foundation for the life they envisioned together, with Bodie and Boone of course!&nbsp; In June of 2023, Peter and Alex went on a Bahamas trip with Alex’s siblings and their significant others to West End, Bahamas. While Alex thought it was a last minute trip, she soon discovered it was a well-planned trip for her surprise engagement. They spent the day diving and shooting fish before heading over to Sandy Cay for happy hour. With a little convincing, Peter took Alex ashore on the uninhabited island where he finally popped the question! In addition to being one of Alex’s favorite childhood destinations, Sandy Cay is now the spot where the Buckley’s began!&nbsp;

Please book flights into Salt Lake City International Airport. It is very easy to get an Uber or Lyft into Park City and is a 40 min drive. We highly recommend looking into Airbnb and VRBO! There are a ton of affordable options including homes for large groups to timeshares available for rent at hotels you can find through these websites. Please see the map below highlighting where Main Street, the mountain resorts, and the event venues are located for reference.

Located at the bottom of Main Street, this is in the heart of Park City. It is walking distance to all bars, restaurants, shopping, and is across from the Town Lift. It is also walking distance to the Friday night Welcome Party at The Bridge Cafe.

Marriott's Summit Watch

This is located in Deer Valley and is about a 5 minute drive from Main Street. It offers multiple different style rooms from hotel rooms, condo style rooms, and 2-3 bedroom suites. This is walking distance to the VanDresser residence where the reception is being held. This is also located at the base of Deer Valley Mountain resort where there are tons of outdoor trails and activities.

Lodges at Deer Valley

This is a more affordable option just a few minutes from Main Street. It is close proximity to everything but requires a short drive, Uber, or free public bus ride to the resort areas or Main Street.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Park City - The Yarrow

Park City offers a great free public bus system like most ski resort towns! This can easily get you to and from Main Street, your hotels, and the Mountain Resorts.

The amount of summer activities Park City has to offer could go on forever! Visit their website and find one to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. You can take a simple, scenic ride on the Town Lift from Main Street, horseback ride up the mountain side, or hike the advanced switchbacks!

Park City Mountain Resort

Visit the bride and groom's favorite place for apre ski! Enjoy the saloon for craft cocktails and southern bar food. We recommend the High West Whiskey Lemonade!

High West Saloon

All three Deer Valley summer chairlifts offer a variety of hiking options. The Silver Lake Trail is a fun, popular option that lets you explore Bald Mountain and take in views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and the Uinta Mountains. Ride the Silver Lake Express to Silver Lake Village and walk up the Silver Lake Trail. Or take lifts all the way to the top of 9,400-foot Bald Mountain by then hopping on the Sterling Express and enjoying a hike back down. This hikers-only trail winds for about two miles, dropping 1,300 vertical feet on the way back down. Combine the Silver Lake Trail with the Ontario Trail (on the opposite side of the Sterling Express chairlift) for a five-mile loop that covers even more spectacular scenery.

Deer Valley Resort

The Olympics were held in Park City, UT in 2002! Visit the park and check out plenty of activities including freestyle shows, the museum, ziplining, bobsledding, tubing, and more.

Utah Olympic Park

The annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival will be held on Main Street during our wedding weekend Friday - Sunday. The Kimball Arts Festival welcomes juror-selected artists from around the world with twelve different art mediums represented. In addition to viewing and purchasing art, festival attendees are encouraged to explore the many art experiences taking place during the weekend, which include live music, artist demonstrations led by Kimball Art Center education staff, kids’ art classes and education programs, and craft beer and artisan cuisine.
