Wild horses roam the 4x4, off-road beaches just north of Corolla, and sometimes stray into town on the off-season. No stay in Corolla is complete without driving on the sand dunes and seeing the wild horses.
Climb the 220 steps to the top of this historic lighthouse for a panoramic view of the Outer Banks.
Head down to kitty Hawk and check out where Wilbur and Orville Wright achieved the first successful airplane flights on December 17, 1903. Don't forget to stop by Alex and Kara's favorite lunch spot in Kitty Hawk, Capt'n Franks, for a hotdog!
Head to Nags Head and climb the tallest active sand dune system in the eastern United States! Fun Fact: Alex was originally going to propose on top of Jockeys Ridge, but the weather caused him to change his plans!
As one of the most creative restaurants on the island, the Blue Point features an incredible array of Southern dishes with waterfront views. Kara and Alex celebrated at Blue Point after Alex proposed!
