In a world of modern and chaotic online dating, Alex and John met in early February 2018. After chatting for a few days, they agreed to meet at a local bar for drinks and live music. Maybe John said he liked the band, perhaps he just said it to get to see Alex that night.

 There were sparks instantly, (especially on the dance floor) and both walked away excited for the next date. Over the next few dates John realized he had met someone very special, but Alex had been accepted to a Physical Therapy Doctorate Program near Tampa, FL. She would be moving for a 2-3 year program.

They fell in love with their sense of humor, their silliness and the love for their families. And only after a few months, there was no question: They would try long distance.

 Through face times and weekend visits they did one of the hardest things for a new couple, and made it out stronger for it.
