Stillwater’s Main Street river front area is on the National Historic Register and is home to over 100 locally-owned shops and restaurants. Art galleries, boutiques, home decor, and unique gift shops line the streets along with tons of dining and outdoor patios.
One of the best ways to experience the bridge is to bike or walk the St Croix Crossing Trail Loop. It is a 5.4 mile loop that is best biked in a counter clockwise fashion. Begin the ride in downtown Stillwater and head south along the river until the trail turns to the east and follow the dedicated bike path onto the bridge.
Stillwater is hilly! Enjoy the views by climbing one of seven sets of stairs near downtown that both tourists and workout warriors are known to frequent.
Stillwater has some amazing restaurants! Here are some of our favorites:

If you are anything like me (Alex) you need a coffee to start the day! Treat yourself to one at a few of my favorite spots. :)
MADE Coffee - Located right by one of the sets of stairs in Stillwater! Grab a coffee on your way up or down.
Mon Petit Cheri - Awesome cinnamon rolls and cafe-style breakfast and lunch.
You & Me Café - Excellent option for coffee, breakfast, or lunch!
