We first met at a Friendsgiving party in 2020. Soon after, our church friends invited us out to play volleyball, and before we knew it, we were playing on a rec sand volleyball team together. In May 2021, we went on a weekend trip to Myrtle Beach, and it was there that we truly found our spark. We started dating that June, and it became the start of our forever! In October 2022, Alex decided to make it official when he dropped to one knee and asked to marry Ashlyn.
