What do I wear?

Cocktail Attire! April can be an unpredictable month with weather but both the wedding and reception will be inside!

How do I RSVP?

We are only using our website to accept RSVP's. Please use the link on the home page to RSVP.

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by February 5.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation has your significant other's name on it or if it says "and guest", then please feel free to bring a date! Otherwise, we will not have extra seating or food/drinks for additional guests.

Can I bring my children?

If your invitation has your children's name on it, please feel free to bring them! Otherwise, we will not have extra seating or food/drinks for them.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony begins at 2pm so please arrive about 30 minutes early to secure parking and find your seat.

What is the parking situation like at both venues?

Our wedding venue and reception venue both have free parking available on site!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We politely ask that you do not take photos at our wedding ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer for that! But at the reception, go nuts!

How far is the ceremony venue from the reception venue?

The ceremony venue is 15 minutes away from the reception venue.

Will there be a time gap between the wedding and reception?

Yes, there will be about a 1 hour gap between the reception and cocktail hour. This will give you enough time to drive to the reception venue and check into your hotel if you are spending the night! Otherwise, take your time mingling or exploring the Des Moines/ Ankeny area!

What type of food will be served?

We do not have the final menu completed yet but we are doing a buffet style with 2 meat options, 2 side options, and 2 salad options. If you have any dietary requirements, please note that as you RSVP and we will accommodate you!

Why does your wedding registry only have one option?

We are going a non traditional route with our wedding registry! Our next goal in our relationship is to pay off our debts and buy a home! We have everything we could ask for and not a lot of space to store any additional items. We would prefer a monetary donation over a material gift to help us achieve our goal!
