I DO CREW

DeLonda Lockheart
DeLonda Lockheart - Maid of Honor
Alex and DeLondra met at college band camp in 2016. They got to know each other and became fast friends. Some of DeLondra's favorite memories include Alex's Doodlebob costume, EVERY college football game performance, jamming out at concerts when they were music stand partners, and the infamous trip to the Midwest Band Clinic in Chicago. Some traits DeLondra loves about Alex are her unmatched energy, intellect, creativity, caring, and honesty. Alex is always ready for a great time full of laughs. DeLondra can’t wait to see how Alex evolves those traits and many more in this new phase of her life. She congratulates the couples as they join their stories together to make the sequel we've all been waiting for!
Sabrina Truong
Sabrina Truong - I Do Crew
On the first day they met, Sabrina and Alex got stuck on her porch, broke Alex's AC unit, and snuck into a Flo Rida concert to watch him sit on his bodyguard's shoulders like Yoshi. Since then, the two have been braving the Philly frontier together, lesson planning for insane classrooms and speed-walking past screaming strangers in Chinatown. Alex and Edgar's home has always been a safe third space for Sabrina, and it'll only become more beautiful and unique as the couple's love grows over the years. Cheers to the Chipetas 💩🎉
Takyra Cooper
Takyra Cooper - I Do Crew
Takyra and Alex met in junior high school but did not become close until high school band. One of Takyra's favorite memories with Alex was when a Sam Smith song would come on, and they would sing as if they were on the Grammy stage. Takyra loves that Alex is very goofy, yet very caring, and always wants the best for those around her. Seeing Alex happy makes Takyra overjoyed, and she wishes nothing but the best for the beautiful couple.
Lavonne Riggins
Lavonne Riggins - I Do Crew
Alex & Lavonne met about ten years ago at Dixie Band Camp in Arkansas. Alex added so much sparkle to everyone’s college experience at UCA whether it was her game nights, random themed outfits, or her crazy dances in the football stands. Lavonne's favorite memory with Alex would have to be this past Thanksgiving in NYC: getting lost in the massive subway system and arriving at their destination an hour later. Congratulations Alex & Edgar! Continue laughing and the love will always be there. Love y’all both!
Molly Thomas
Molly Thomas - I Do Crew
Molly met Alex in Michigan at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. It was sweaty and dirty with lots of sand. By working together, they became very close within 2-3 months. When they returned to their respective hometowns, they kept in contact and would visit each other often. When together, Molly and Alex always visit thrift stores trying to get the best deal on interesting finds. Molly also loves how Alex always dresses in fun and interesting costumes in everyday life. Her favorite thing about Alex is her deep love for her friends. She is always intentional with her friendships.
Miguel Hernandez
Miguel Hernandez - I Do Crew
Alex and Miguel first met in 3rd grade; however, their friendship truly started to form in 6th grade when they bonded over stifling their laughter in hopes of not getting caught. Through the years they shared many school days, holidays, and summers as their relationship turned into a brother and sister bond. During and after college Alex and Miguel’s friendship came to a full bloom as they reached adulthood, and became more active in each other’s lives. Miguel’s favorite memory was hard to think of as Alex and he shared many moments for the past 16 years. Yet the one he cherishes the most is being able to see her and Edgar laugh and love together when they visited him in Tulsa. He is very proud of his beautiful sister and the intelligent, selfless, caring woman she has become.

Groom Squad

Sean Gallagher
Sean Gallagher - Frontman
Edgar and Sean have known each other and kept in touch since middle school, but their friendship truly took off during their postgraduate years. After they had each moved to Pennsylvania to launch their careers, they became roommates (along with groomsman Puneeth Sharma) in the summer of 2020. The year they shared in Philadelphia was an unforgettable one between hot pot dinner parties, neighborhood roller hockey, drinks at Sto’s, a road trip to DC, and Friday night runs to the best halal cart in town (it’s the one by Fishtown Crossing, if you are curious). Sean admires Edgar most for his patience, kindness, and joyful demeanor, and expects his wedding to be full of fun (as are most events that he and Alex plan together).
Puneeth Sharma
Puneeth Sharma - Second in command
Edgar and I first met in Middle School. I forced my friendship onto Edgar when I recognized him in our seventh grade science class. Tired of pushing back my advances of hanging out and playing video games together, Edgar caved and we became close friends. Almost every day spent during our Junior and Senior year summer vacation was spent at my house playing video games, watching TV, and playing basketball. And that is no exaggeration, Edgar came over every. Single. Day. I was planning on doing nothing those summers, I was more than happy to not do anything with my buddy. I really admire how much Edgar has grown during their friendship; what was once someone who didn’t dare step outside his comfort zone is now someone that seeks new experiences. I give a lot of that credit towards his bride-to-be, Alex. I’m expecting their wedding to be one for the record books, a day that anyone attending will never forget. A whole lot of singing too
Colin Hudson
Colin Hudson - Lead guitarist
Edgar and I crossed paths in the halls of academia during our high school days, our introduction orchestrated by common comrades who recognized our joint enthusiasm for games and the celestial realm of Halo, even though the grandeur of Xbox ownership eluded my possession. Within the hallowed corridors of ShopRite and the scholastic pickle abode, our camaraderie flourished as we engaged in the noble pursuits of cart-pushing, witnessed Edgar's culinary endeavors with live lobsters, and partook in rollicking escapades within Buddy's modest lots. Whether it was the aqueous embrace of Ben's pool, the subterranean mysteries of Puneeth's basement, or the dimly lit table at Cliff's, our moments together brimmed with cheer and laughter, as we endeavored to provoke Edgar's laughter amidst the camaraderie. As Edgar prepares to embark on the journey of matrimony, I anticipate a mirthful celebration, where laughter shall reign supreme, whether through our collective jests or his own merriment.
Ben Poisseroux
Ben Poisseroux - Keyboardist
Edgar and I first crossed paths during our high school years, introduced through mutual friends who recognized our shared passions for gaming and the music of the 70s and 80s. Fond recollections from that time include summer breaks when we would embark on leisurely drives in my Camry, harmonizing to Track 5 on repeat as we ventured aimlessly. Edgar's inclination for expressing sincerity is exemplified in the handwritten letters he consistently dispatches to his friends, each of which I carefully preserve. Anticipating Edgar's upcoming nuptials, I envision an atmosphere of joy and laughter that will undoubtedly permeate the occasion. While I expect him to exude exuberance, there may be moments when good-natured reprimands are in order, particularly in the company of his groomsmen.
Chris Wagner
Chris Wagner - Drummer
Chris and Edgar's friendship started in 8th grade. Bonding on the Xbox 360 competing for the most Achievements had led to many fun-filled days and nights. Chris’s fondest memories often involved Halo game nights but most of all Rock Band. Nothing beats the thrill of almost failing every song because Chris can’t hold a beat or drumsticks for that matter. Edgar’s sense of humor and uncontrollable laughter are always there to brighten everyone's day while being so infectious it could get you kicked out of the classroom. Joy and laughter can always be expected with Edgar in the room and not enough words can describe his heart of gold and ability to listen. Even if it’s listening to some questionable illiterate nonsense from Chris. Edgar has a master's degree in understanding what on earth Chris was trying to say or express. People tend to get distracted by the hand movements that often accompany the wild stories and rants.
Russel Tagaca
Russel Tagaca - Singer
Edgar and I met randomly from our last and biggest NJIT class, we kinda just started doing dumb things on campus like getting food together and hanging out and just laughing a lot at noises I’d make which you liked (very bizarre but hey u found it entertaining so ). My favorite memory would definitely be shark tank vibe, i aint remember much from the shark tank episodes but that was a ridiculous day (this is prolly the worst memory but one of the best). Edgar is cool, calm, collected and i expect edgar to be edgar at the wedding.
