Alex and Astacia first met in college at George Mason University in 2015, though they wouldn’t officially start dating until they attended the Women’s March in Washington DC on January 21st, 2017. Three years later, on October 16th, 2020 (during a pandemic of all things), Alex would propose on the rim of the Grand Canyon at sunrise with a pair of diamond earrings passed down from his Great Grandmother. Astacia enthusiastically said yes, and a short time later, they would design and build a beautiful engagement ring together incorporating those same diamond into the design. Two years later, in July of 2022, they would move to Seattle Washington where they could both explore a new world of scenic view’s, delicious food, unique concerts and performances, and expansive nature.

It’s now been 7 years that we have been together, and on June 10th, 2024 we will be starting the next chapter of our life together. We are excited to celebrate our continuing journey with you all and look forward to seeing you all at our wedding!
