Our Wedding

We met the old-fashioned way… on Bumble. A few messages and one date later, we knew we’d found something special—bonding over a mutual love of horror movies and Alexa’s determination to master pickleball (jury’s still out on her backhand). From there, our relationship grew with the help of a few key traditions: movie marathons on a mattress dragged into the living room, sneaking fast food into theaters like pros, and discovering that our worlds were already quietly connected. As it turned out, our friends and families had been orbiting each other for year; it felt like home from the very beginning. Now, we can’t wait to start this next chapter and keep growing this meaningful love we’ve built together. Oh, and if you’re wondering why the password to this site is Blackbird—no, it’s not a random bird we’re obsessed with. It’s actually the name of the island where Russ popped the question during a snowy getaway to Leavenworth. So now it’s a little spot that will always mean something special to us.
