On the morning of May 27th 2023, Alexa had just finished training and decided to Facetime her cousin Peter who was working with "Joe T". Rewind three years prior, Joe T would always ask Peter for his permission to take Alexa out on a date, all he needed was one date and he knew he would sweep her off her feet. Peter knew that both his cousin Alexa and his friend Joe T would be great together, it just wasn't the right time. After many tries & many DM's from Joe T fast forward three years later, May 27th Alexa Facetimed her cousin Peter to ask what the plan was for that beautiful Saturday. Peter responded "wanna see your future husband?" and BOOM in pops Joe T on the facetime call! Joe T explained over Facetime all he needed was one date. Alexa responded "well come up to Warwick and hangout with all of us!" little did she know he actually would... Alexa showed up to her cousins house later that afternoon, no makeup, hair curly and thrown back in a pony tail, tank top and cute shorts. Alexa kept in mind Joe T lives all the way in Toms River NJ and probably was all talk when he said "yes ill meet you up in Warwick." Keep in mind, this was the first time they would be meeting. Joe T DM'd Alexa with his phone number and said to text him instead of going back and forth on instagram. From there Alexa texted him and said "hey it's your future wife." Once you get to the Paragioudakis house in Warwick, you must connect to wifi or else there is no point in having your phone with you. Alexa left her phone in the kitchen as she sat around the fire with everyone, little did she know Joe T was on his way. She went inside to retrieve her phone and her cousin Meghan grabbed her excited and said "we have a surprise visitor for you" Alexa replied with "omg who..." and Meghan than said " JOE T! He's jumping in the shower because he came straight from work, stopped at Target on the way." Alexa quickly poured a cocktail to calm her nerves, while doing so she looked at her phone and saw several texts from Joe T, one being "I hope you're dressed to impress" and she was far from that.... Joe T was showered and decided to join everyone outside by the fire. Once he walked out he and Alexa made immediate eye contact, he then looked away and to her mother and said "is that my future mother-in-law?!" right then and there Alexa knew how great he'd be. They spent the night getting to know one another, sharing stories and how they have finally met after trying to get together for over three years.

The next day Joe T asked Alexa if she would like to head down the shore for the weekend, Alexa loved that idea as long as Zoe (her German Shepard) was able to join her. It was an amazing weekend well spent getting to know each other more. While in the pool enjoying some songs by Teddy Swims, Joe T asked Alexa "so are you my girlfriend? I know what I want in my life and I've only been trying to get you in my life for the past three years." From there they made it exclusive and knew it was right. Two months later on July 24th 2023 after spending the weekend in Atlantic City to celebrate Joe's 40th birthday, the couple headed to Mahwah to continue the celebration (Alexa thinking for Joe's Birthday). They arrive at the Amoratis household with a little surprise. Joe T was on a knee, popped the question to the future Mrs. Toccaceli to be. It was an amazing surprise surrounded by their families. They all continued the rest of the night celebrating life, love and happiness.
