The year was 2014 when Alex and Alexa met working at their local Starbucks, living their best lives slinging frappuccinos and mochas. Alex who was the self proclaimed "baristud" didn't seem to interest Alexa in anything more than friendship as she was three years his elder (which lets be honest seems like an eternity in your early 20s!). Over a year they both ended their Starbucks career and hung up their aprons for good, but managed to stay friendly through social media.

Fast forward to 2019, Alexa happened to post a very riveting story on Instagram regarding where else... Taco Bell. Alex took this opportunity to slideeee into those DM's to provide some very crucial information about a secret jalapeno sauce. If you know Alexa- sauce is a way of life. They soon began chatting, catching up on old memories. They made plans to meet up and grab a drink which led to an entire evening hanging out because they were having so much fun! Alexa still put cute Alex in the friendzone treating him the same as when they first met. Alex, clever as he was, didn't shy away and leaned into that friendzone- going for the strong tactic of the "long game." Slowly but surely they kept hanging out and Alexa finally realized that there was a reason she kept wanting to spend all of her extra time with this guy. They finally made it official on September 17th of 2019 and it's been an amazing ride ever since!

Going on endless adventures, hiking, enjoying great food and wine, bingeing all of the netflix shows (COVID am I right?), and all the while making priceless memories and inside jokes.

After 3+ years of dating Alex popped the life altering question on 4/22/23. Alexa, in shock excitedly said YES!! and has been all smiles ever since.
