We met at the local gym during my final year in nursing school. Coincidentally, I met his grandmother (Mimi) at a restaurant when out with a hometown friend from New Jersey. Seeing that Mimi and I both grew up near the Jersey shore, we hit it off immediately. After chatting for a while, she mentioned her grandson that lived in town. Fast forward six months, Mike and I met each other at the gym. We began talking and really hit it off. Later that night, when both leaving the gym, he invited me to go snowboarding with his friends. After our first snowboard trip, the rest was history. We fell in love and haven't looked back since.

P.s. I knew he was a keeper when he beat me down the mountain.
