What is the dress code for the wedding?

We encourage guests to wear cocktail or formal attire. Our feminine guests can wear anything from a mini cocktail dress to an elegant floor-length dress. Our masculine guests can wear dress pants with a nice shirt and tie or dress it up with a suit. Our bridesmaids will be wearing satin taupe-colored dresses, but taupe colored attire is not off-limits for guests. You are welcome to wear floral patterns with a white background but we recommend steering away from full white or ivory dresses. It is a late summer wedding, so prepare for warm or hot weather.

What are the colors for the wedding?

We do not have set wedding colors. The bridesmaids will be wearing shiny satin taupe dresses (pinkish-champagne). Since this is a late summer wedding, we will be incorporating greens and light colors into our decor.

Can I bring a date?

We tried to be inclusive of our family and friends with long-term partners, but there is limited space at the wedding. You are guaranteed a +1 option if it states "and guest" on your invitation. There will also be an extra RSVP card in your envelope. If you are not given the +1 option on the invitation but have a special someone that you would like to bring, please reach out to us and we may be able to include them if there is space.

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

If weather allows, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. The reception will be indoors. The ceremony and reception are both located at the same venue.

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" with no phones or cameras. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present while we say "I do." We have hired professional photographers for the ceremony - trust us, they will get a better shot than your phone camera! We will share the professional photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, you are welcome to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception, and we will also have a photo booth!

Will there be an open bar?

Of course! We will have a wide selection of beer, wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages. You are welcome (and encouraged) to tip the excellent bartenders!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

We will be supplying the alcohol for this event with an open bar. Due to the venue policy, you are not allowed to bring outside alcohol onto the premises.

Will I be able to request songs from the DJ?

With the help of our DJ, we will be carefully curating an excellent playlist for our wedding. We will have a place on our wedding website where you will be able to request songs that you want to hear. The DJ will not be taking song requests during the reception (no matter how much you bribe them!).

What do I do if I have a food allergy/intolerance?

You can let us know on your wedding invitation if there are any food restrictions. We are happy to accommodate your needs!

Will the venue be handicap accessible?

Yes! The venue is handicap-accessible and also has handicap-accessible restrooms. If you plan on attending in a wheelchair or power mobility device, please let us know so that we can ensure you have adequate space at your table.

Where can I stay for lodging?

There are cottages on the venue property that we will be releasing to our guests in waves to book. We also have a wedding block at a nearby hotel and will be providing transportation to that hotel. Visit the "Travel" tab for more information.

How should I address the bride and groom?

You can use our first names, Alexa and Christian! We are both keeping our last names, so if you are addressing us formally, please use Mrs. Connors and Mr. Cianflone.
